Tina has a BSW from The Ohio State University. In her early work she learned that she knew what people were struggling with (like anxiety, depression or past trauma), but felt she needed more training to learn strategies for helping people cope with life's problems and/or mental health concerns. After working with teens in residential placement, and people in the hospital with disabling conditions, she returned to school for a master's degree. Graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington where she specialized in Counseling Skills and Administration and Planning. She has continued training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Treatment, Wellness Coaching, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and other counseling strategies. In her free time Tina enjoys Vermilion, Yoga, boating, walking and any outdoor activity and loves spending time with family and people of all ages. She believes in listening first, then assisting you in reaching your goals. Tina works with Lakeshore Health and Wellness scheduling appointments with children, adolescents, and adults.
