Licensed Independent Counselor, LPCC or LISW

Position and Requirements:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Independent Counselor. This position has flexible day, evening, and weekend hours. Those who apply MUST have a minimum of a Master’s Degree, with an active license from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. It is required that you have at least one year of work experience. Compensation is based on a rate per patient seen. This position entails you working with the patient to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the priority needs of the patient. In addition, you will maintain the patient’s chart, which includes the treatment plan, progress towards goals along with objectives, and termination of chart when completed treatment plan. These records are to monitor the patient’s progress and adjusting the therapeutic approach, if needed.

At Lakeshore Health and Wellness, we want to promote the safest therapeutic experience for our clients and therapists. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we will be offering Teletherapy for those who are unable to attend sessions in person. While this is a great temporary alternative, we realize that it is not for everyone.
