1. Mindfulness. Mindfulness is paying attention, non-judgmentally, to the present moment; experiencing one's emotions and senses fully, yet with perspective.
2. Interpersonal Effectiveness. Interpersonal Effectiveness skills include assertiveness and problem solving, asking for what one needs, saying no, and coping with interpersonal conflict.
3. Emotion Regulation. Emotion Regulation skills include, understanding and naming emotions, changing unwanted emotions, reducing vulnerability, and managing extreme conditions.
4. Distress Tolerance. Distress Tolerance skills include accepting, finding meaning for, and tolerating distress.
DBT group will incorporate games, role-playing, art, music, videos, and community engagement.
