Deby Bonilla is a dedicated counselor-in-training with a passion for supporting individuals in their personal growth and well-being. She is currently pursuing her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University. Deby earned her bachelor’s in business management through Indiana Wesleyan University. She has worked for Lorain County for over 15 years engaging with the community on different levels. Her bilingual abilities in English and Spanish, allow Deby the unique advantage of connecting with a diverse range of clients, ensuring effective communication, and understanding.
Empathy is a central quality that Deby brings to her counseling practice. She genuinely cares about the experiences and emotions of others, creating a safe and nurturing space for individuals to explore their concerns and find solace. Her empathetic nature allows her to establish strong therapeutic relationships, fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue. Deby’s preferred treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
